Verify the replacement
Match battery chemistry, dimensions, terminal layout, capacity, hold-down and vent requirements.
Point de contrôleAGM/EFB/flooded type is not being substituted without authorization.
ÉTAPE 2
Power down correctly
Follow the exact shutdown and sleep period, preserve required settings and disconnect negative first.
Point de contrôleThe vehicle cannot wake or auto-start during service.
ÉTAPE 3
Exchange and secure
Remove the hold-down, lift safely, clean the tray and install the replacement with its vent and hold-down exactly positioned.
Point de contrôleThe battery cannot move and no cable is strained.
ÉTAPE 4
Reconnect and register
Reconnect in the documented order, torque connections and perform battery registration or resets where required.
Point de contrôleCharging strategy recognizes the new battery and all safety systems initialize normally.
